PROZAC
27 DEATHS
DURING CLINICAL TRAILS!

Documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act reveal that both Eli Lilly (manufacturer of Prozac) and officials of the FDA were aware that at least 27 deaths had been linked to Prozac’s use before the drug was released in 1990.

As of September 16, 1993- 28,623 reports of adverse reactions to Prozac had been received by the FDA.- more than any other substance in the 24-year history of the FDA’s adverse drug reaction reporting system. These included- delirium, hallucinations, convulsions, violent hostility, aggression, psychosis, 1,885 suicide attempts and 1,734 deaths (1,089 by suicide). But still Prozac was being prescribed as a popular drug for ‘depression’.

You never heard of this on your local TV evening news. Ever wonder why?
As early as 1986, long before Prozac was approved for the public, evidence existed, which linked Prozac to worsened symptoms of depression and the onset of psychotic episodes, senseless violence, homicide and even multiple murders.

But, the FDA approved it never the less!
A lengthy investigation by FREEDOM and the Citizens Commission on Human Rights has linked the FDA’s failure to protect the public from the dangers of Prozac, to ‘improper relationships’ between its members and the drug companies, which they are mandated to oversee. At least five of the members on the FDA’s Drug Advisory Committee had conflicts of interest based on business dealings with manufacturers of antidepressant drugs (including Lilly) totaling at least $1,108 ,587. The FDA refused to take action (www.prozactruth.com/fdalilly.htm).

The harmless amino acid L-Tryptophan, which you could buy in your local health food store for about $6.00 for 100 capsules, was a natural cure for depression and insomnia. (I know, because I used it!) It was banned by the FDA in late 1989, just a few short months before Prozac hit the market. The FDA attributed 2 deaths to a “contaminated batch”- made in Japan. You can now only get Tryptophan by prescription- it’s very expensive- A SIGN OF THE COMING TIMES!
