Nexium

exium ‘relieves’ heartburn and other symptoms caused by backflow of stomach acid into the canal to the stomach (esophagus) – a condition known as gastro-esophageal reflux disease. It’s also prescribed to ‘heal’ the damage (erosive esophagitis) from reflux disease.

Prescribed in combination with antibiotics, Nexium is also used to treat infections that cause duodenal ulcers. Like its sister drug Prilosec, Nexium works by reducing the production of stomach acid. It comes in ‘delayed -release’ capsules – that should be swallowed whole. (I learned a long time ago – ‘delayed release’ drugs cause damage to the liver. – G.E.)

Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop, or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor (Hmmmm…) can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Nexium.

It’s a proven fact: Every drug will eventually cause the very condition that it was given for in the 1st place – plus more! FYI – Pharma drugs are the 3rd leading cause of death in this country.
