Generic Name – Carvedilol

USES: This DRUG is an alpha and beta blocker – used to treat high blood pressure/heart failure. It is also used after an acute heart attack to improve (?) survival. It works by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals in your body (such as epinephrine) that affect the heart & blood vessels.

WARNING: Seek immediate medical attention if you develop: worsening chest pain, tightness and/or pressure in the chest, chest pain spreading to the jaw, neck, or arm, sweating, or trouble breathing.
