Biological Warfare

ASK GRANNY EARTH

What do you think of all the biological warfare threats? Do we have anything to really worry about? And if so, what can we do to protect ourselves from contracting these dreadful diseases?

First let me go on record as saying that I know nothing better than anyone else when it comes to guessing what will happen. I find it all very scary and indeed quite stressful too. War is such a terrible thing and I feel for all the families who have loved ones away from home. Whether or not we have anything to worry about as far as a biological attack, remains to be seen. I remember as a child the old saying; “Better to be safe than sorry.” So as to your second question: Is there anything we can do to protect ourselves from these diseases?

Biological warfare is a terminology used by our Government to denote germs; viruses and bacteria (and maybe a little fungus sprinkled in too), in other words live microorganisms, contained and utilized to attack or incapacitate an enemy. They can be delivered to the enemy by means of artillery, bombs, missiles, spray from aircraft, dumped in water supplies, as food contaminants, in aerosol cans, or many other ways. Many of the contaminants can be communicable, spread from person to person or between humans and animals. Their means of dispersal is endless. It is this endlessness that can be the most damaging, for there is no way of stopping the spreading of the toxin once it has been released (Biological Warfare and Your Immunity- www.originalzen.com).

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has a section on their website (www.cdc.gov ) of a list of infectious diseases, along with maps and images to help explain what we may have to face if biological warfare becomes a reality.
Anthrax- is perhaps the most prevalent germs of all. It’s a bacteria that has a spore form, which makes it environmentally resistant. It is not communicable, though once inhaled, it is highly infectious and lethal.

Smallpox- is highly contagious virus and is easily spread. Vaccination programs claimed to have eradicated smallpox in the 1970’s, while labs in the U.S. and Russia (as well as other countries) have maintained quantities of the virus. It has a high mortality rate.

Ebola and Marburg- are two viral toxins, reflecting identical symptoms, which include; a high fever and hemorrhage. These extremely lethal toxins lead to copious amounts of bleeding from all ‘orifices’. There is no treatment and no known cure.

Botulism- is a deadly bacteria, which can be contracted by inhalation or ingestion. In severe cases, patients are diagnosed with respiratory failure and paralysis.

Tularemia- is a bacteria, which is not lethal, but it causes other disorders that are quite debilitating. Symptoms include weight loss, fever, headache and pneumonia.
It appears that the U.S. medical community is quite worried about the ability of our standing medical facilities and their capabilities. Clinics do not seem to have the space for the masses of people that may flood their offices should a biological attack take place. Neither do they have ample supplies or staff needed to treat everyone should an attack take place. What is one to do then?
Well, it is almost impossible to not worry about all of this. I’m going to pass along a few natural alternatives for keeping our immune systems strong and for combating pathogens, should we become infected. These are-

Echinacea, Elderberry flowers and berries, Garlic, Olive Leaf Extract, Thyme, Oil of Oregano, Miracle11 Soap and Neutralizer, Hydrogen Peroxide, Ozone water filtration and Colloidal Silver.

All of my research tells me that to keep our bodies in the best condition possible, we must first of all eat- ORGANIC, ORGANIC, ORGANIC! Over processed or refined foods (franken-foods) weaken the body and cause a build up of toxins within the lymph and intestinal tract. Making sure to get one’s pH in balance will also aid the nervous and immune system. Cleansing our body of the chemicals in our environment is a tool that will benefit us in the event of chemical warfare. Nourishing the body to sustain a healthy nervous and digestive tract will aid in the natural process of warding off these toxins in the future.

It’s the ‘not knowing’ that makes us feel so vulnerable. Combating this fear is the first step to overcoming and carrying on. Being prepared is more than being stocked up on essential oils and preventative herbs- it’s a sense of survival (knowing that we can survive) that all of us have in our hearts. For after all, do we ever really know what tomorrow will bring?

Starting a healthy lifestyle today will help protect you tomorrow and the influence of that life-style on our children will last a lifetime. Begin by taking one step at a time, making one little change in your diet at a time and by all means- talk to others and help them too!
