Detoxification is the process of clearing toxins and excess mucus from the body. These toxins come from our diet, drugs, and the environment. Poor digestion, colon sluggishness, a compromised liver and kidney elimination = toxicity. Detoxification involves dietary/lifestyle changes which reduce toxins and improve elimination. Avoid chemicals form refined food, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, and drugs to minimize the toxin load.
